Job description
The IT Hospitality Applications Analyst at Vida Aljada Sharjah, Dubai, UAE, is responsible for delivering a flawless guest experience through the specification, implementation, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hospitality applications. This role ensures that front-of-house guest-facing systems meet business requirements, integrates with other systems, and maximizes service efficiency and ROI. The analyst handles technical maintenance, interfaces, workflow enhancements, reporting, and provides second-level support. Responsibilities include liaising with IT Applications Managers, Project Managers, and vendors, diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, or operating system issues, and ensuring minimum downtime while maintaining data integrity. The role demands adaptability, multi-project management, technical communication to non-technical users, and proactive contribution to exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities
- Specify, implement, install, and configure new front-of-house guest-facing hospitality applications to meet business needs, liaising with IT Applications Manager, Project Manager, and vendors.
- Provide ongoing technical maintenance and support for assigned hospitality applications to ensure reliability and business benefits, managing vendor support escalations as necessary.
- Enhance hospitality applications by developing reports, workflows, and additional functionalities to maximize ROI, improve service efficiency, and provide enhanced services to associates and ambassadors.
- Provide second-level support for applications hosted at the business unit level, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and maintaining operational continuity.
- Analyse, define, and implement interfaces between hospitality applications to provide integrated IT solutions that support business processes.
- Identify, diagnose, and rectify problems affecting hospitality applications originating from software, hardware, or operating systems, ensuring minimum downtime and maintaining data integrity.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of hospitality applications.
Experience & skills
- Three-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, or 2 years equivalent work experience in hospitality applications.
- Experience in handling hospitality application implementation projects, including configuration, deployment, and support.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities independently while maintaining quality and timeliness.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in developing workflows, reports, and interfaces to enhance hospitality applications.
- Experience providing second-level support and troubleshooting for applications at the business unit level.
- Knowledge of IT systems integration, software, hardware, and operating systems troubleshooting.
- Strong focus on customer experience, service efficiency, and business ROI through application management.
