Job description
The Techno Functional Specialist – Oracle Fusion HCM role sits within the ICT team at Transguard Group’s headquarters in Dubai Airport Freezone and is responsible for supporting, stabilizing, enhancing, and optimizing a newly implemented Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management application. The role ensures the stability of Oracle Fusion and Oracle E-Business Suite environments while managing integrations that support a co-existence model, maintaining quarterly Oracle updates, and enabling new features to add business value. The position works closely with business unit champions and stakeholders to challenge and improve HR processes, lead requirements gathering workshops, translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, configure and customize Oracle Fusion HCM modules, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with best practices. The role provides deep technical expertise across data migration, integrations, extensions, reporting, analytics, Oracle Redwood UX customization, PaaS development, API integrations, and emerging Oracle AI capabilities, while supporting end-user training, post go-live support, and continuous innovation across HR operations.

Key responsibilities
- Support, stabilize, and enhance the Oracle Fusion HCM application post-implementation
- Ensure stability of Oracle Fusion and Oracle E-Business Suite environments and oversee integrations supporting the co-existence model
- Maintain Oracle Fusion HCM quarterly updates and enable new features that add business value
- Collaborate with business unit champions and stakeholders to understand HR processes, requirements, and objectives
- Lead requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Configure and customize Oracle Fusion HCM modules in line with business processes and best practices
- Design and develop reports, dashboards, analytics, and insights using BI Publisher and OTBI
- Provide technical expertise in data migration, integrations, and extensions using Oracle Fusion middleware tools
- Develop and support API integrations using Oracle Cloud Integration and SOAP/REST services
- Conduct end-user training sessions and provide post go-live support to ensure adoption
- Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on time and within budget
- Stay current with Oracle Fusion HCM trends, Redwood UX updates, and AI capabilities, recommending continuous improvements
- Propose innovative and transformational solutions to enhance business unit operations
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 8–10 years of techno-functional experience with Oracle Fusion HCM
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Exhibit strong experience in PaaS development using APEX and VBCS and SaaS integrations and extensions
- Demonstrate deep understanding of HR processes, workflows, and Oracle HCM configuration
- Exhibit hands-on experience with data loading and migration tools including HDL, Payroll Batch Loader, extracts, web services, and spreadsheet loaders
- Demonstrate proven experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, dashboards, fast formula, error handling, BPM, personalization, Sandboxes, and Page Composer
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Oracle Redwood UX including configuration, personalization, and custom extension development using VBS and VBCS
- Exhibit strong experience with PL/SQL, reporting tools, and API integration development using Oracle Cloud Integration
- Demonstrate familiarity with Oracle AI and generative AI capabilities for HCM
- Demonstrate ability to translate business requirements into effective technical configurations
