Job description
The Supplier Package Manager in the UAE is responsible for the end-to-end project management of supplier procurement packages, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in full compliance with technical, quality, and HSES standards. Reporting to the Project Procurement Manager, this role acts as the primary liaison between suppliers, Lamprell PMT members, and customers. The manager oversees the full procurement lifecycle, including purchase order budgets, supplier schedules, design dependencies, and coordination with sub-suppliers. Responsibilities include reviewing and contributing to material requisitions, evaluating technical bids, resolving quality and technical issues, and ensuring all supplier deliverables meet project requirements. This role requires deep knowledge of engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, and site processes related to supplier packages, combined with strong commercial awareness, project execution experience, and adherence to QA/QC practices and client specifications. The manager must apply effective communication, supplier influence, negotiation, and risk mitigation skills while maintaining professional integrity and compliance with organizational policies and information security standards.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the on-time and within-budget delivery of supplier procurement packages in compliance with technical, quality, and HSES requirements
- Oversee purchase order budgets and address commercial issues with suppliers in coordination with the Project Procurement Manager
- Manage supplier delivery schedules, including design dependencies and sub-supplier coordination
- Lead key supplier meetings such as Kick-Off Meetings, Pre-Inspection Meetings, and Progress Reviews
- Ensure supplier materials are delivered according to quality and HSES standards
- Review and contribute to material requisitions and technical bid evaluations
- Proactively resolve technical and quality issues between suppliers and project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies and procedures
Experience & skills
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, and site work processes related to supplier packages
- Understanding of current market conditions relevant to the scope of responsibility
- Commercial principles and awareness
- Familiarity with change management processes and purchase order structures
- Understanding of project execution methodologies and overall project supply chain processes
- Knowledge of QA/QC practices related to manufacturing processes for supplier packages
- Awareness of end-client specifications and procedural requirements

- Proven ability to manage multiple internal and external project interfaces
