Job description
Telecommunication clients are the focus for this Audit Senior in Deloitte's Riyadh Audit & Assurance practice. Group audits feature heavily, so referral instructions need adapting to set out scope and areas of audit focus for component auditors, whose deliverables you help track. Onshore and offshore Centers of Excellence pick up delegated tasks, and they depend on accurate, complete information from you. Within the EMS file, risks, controls, procedures and findings for your allocated sections must link up on time. Good documentation anticipates reviewer questions and separates accounting judgements from auditing judgements. Audit quality milestones and the timing of the audit plan are areas where challenge is welcome, especially on moving work earlier in the cycle. AI is part of the toolkit, applied through firm-approved tools with prompt engineering fundamentals and professional scepticism over every output. Staff supervision, inspection of client financial records, data analysis, audit reporting and accounting research all form part of the day. Candidates need a degree in Accounting or a related field and 4+ years in public auditing and accounting, preferably with Big Audit Firms, while SOCPA, CA, ACCA or CPA and bilingual Arabic/English are preferred.

- Apply AI in an audit context to improve efficiency and quality using firm-approved tools
- Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness and appropriateness before use in workpapers
