Job description
Governments, tax authorities and policy makers are the clients for this Consultant in EY's Tax Policy team, part of the International Tax & Transaction Services (ITTS) practice in Dubai. The work centres on strengthening tax policy, with recommendations grounded in international best practice and regulatory trends. Revenue administrations need practical support turning policy into effective implementation. Some engagements focus on how governments approach international tax initiatives such as OECD BEPS, Pillar One and Pillar Two. Legal, finance, economics and public policy specialists work alongside you to deliver joined-up advice. Technical memos, policy papers and presentations need to be clear and persuasive. Managing several projects at once, keeping to budget and knowing when to refer issues upward are part of everyday practice. Expect to bring at least four years as a tax professional, ideally from a Big 4 firm, a government entity or an international firm, along with a degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting.
