Job description
The Senior Web Analyst at Al-Futtaim Retail leads onsite merchandising and search optimization across multiple ecommerce platforms, ensuring best-in-class digital experience, robust analytics, and data accuracy. The role includes end-to-end implementation of digital tracking using Google Tag Manager, GA4, BigQuery, and app analytics tools like Adjust and Appsflyer. The analyst builds data dashboards using Looker Studio, performs SQL-based analysis, and manages tracking structures for multi-channel campaign attribution. Additional responsibilities involve compliance with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), consent management via tools like Cookiebot, and active collaboration with UX and content teams to drive site performance and ecommerce KPIs. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, deep ecommerce knowledge, and strong data-driven decision-making skills.

Key responsibilities
- Improve website KPIs through strategic merchandising, product placement, and SEO
- Lead trading and product visibility optimization across e-Stores
- Manage digital analytics tagging via Google Tag Manager, including enhanced ecommerce and server-side tagging
- Ensure accurate tracking with GA4 and export integration with BigQuery
- Execute app tracking setups using tools like Adjust and Appsflyer
- Build dashboards and reports using Looker Studio and SQL
- Implement and maintain UTM structures and multi-channel attribution tracking
- QA analytics setups using developer tools, GTM preview, and Charles Proxy
- Ensure full compliance with data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA
- Maintain homepage and promotional content updates with cross-functional coordination
Experience & skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising or web analytics
- Hands-on experience with GTM, GA4, BigQuery, SQL, and app analytics tools
- Strong understanding of site UX and ecommerce trading
- Technical skills in HTML, CSS, JS; experience with headless architecture is a plus
- Experience in attribution tracking, UTM structures, and analytics QA
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, consent management, and analytics compliance tools
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and data-driven mindset
