Job description
Major new build stadiums, stadium redevelopments and wider precinct transformations in Riyadh sit at the center of what this role supports, as part of Mace's strategic project management consultancy work. You'll develop and implement the project's stakeholder engagement and communications strategy from the ground up. Clients, government authorities, sporting bodies, utility providers, operators and local communities all need identifying, mapping and managing as key stakeholders. Regulatory authorities get built into strong working relationships too, since approvals, permits and stakeholder buy-in depend on it. Stakeholder requirements get coordinated into project planning, design and delivery rather than bolted on afterward. Issues, conflicts and escalations get managed directly to keep programme, cost and project objectives on track. Workshops, meetings and consultations with internal and external stakeholders get facilitated on a regular basis. Risk tracking runs alongside all this, with action trackers monitored closely and regular reporting flowing up to senior leadership. Community engagement initiatives and public-facing communications also fall under this role where required.
