Job description
The IT Executive will ensure the successful implementation, support, and optimization of hospitality technology applications within a luxury guest-facing environment. This includes configuring and maintaining front-of-house hospitality systems, supporting users, diagnosing system issues, and working with vendors to resolve escalated technical problems. The role also involves enhancing application features, integrating systems for seamless operation, and developing reports and workflows to maximize business efficiency and ROI. This position is key to supporting Emaarâs technology-driven guest experience in a fast-paced, adaptive, and service-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities
- Specify, implement, install, and configure new front-of-the-house guest-facing hospitality applications assigned to analystâs specialty area.
- Ensure the product meets the needs of the business, liaising with the IT Applications Manager, Project Manager, and vendors where necessary.
- Provide ongoing technical maintenance and usage support of assigned hospitality applications to maintain their reliability and business benefits.
- Liaise with vendors for support escalations.
- Enhance hospitality applications using appropriate tool sets to maximize business ROI and service efficiency.
- Develop reports, workflows, and additional features to provide enhanced services to associates/ambassadors.
- Provide second-level support for specific applications hosted at the business unit level.
- Analyze, define, and implement interfaces between hospitality applications to provide integrated solutions.
- Identify, diagnose, and rectify problems affecting hospitality applications from software, hardware, or operating systems, minimizing downtime and maintaining data integrity.
Experience & skills
- Three-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science.
- 4 years of equivalent work experience in hospitality applications.
- Experience in handling hospitality application implementation projects.
- Ability to manage own workload while working on multiple projects with changing priorities.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical language to users.
