Job description
Mastercard is hiring a Managing Consultant in Services Business Development for its West Arabia division. The role focuses on growing Mastercard Advisors' presence by leading cross-functional sales efforts, building client relationships, and creating tailored service solutions for financial institutions, fintechs, retailers, and government entities. The position requires a strategic thinker with a strong consulting background, payments expertise, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
- Support shaping Mastercard Services growth strategy in West Arabia and execute against that strategy.
- Lead cross-divisional sales efforts and orchestrate work of local and regional sales, product, and client services teams.
- Identify critical client or market problems to determine new business opportunities.
- Build and leverage deep knowledge of all Mastercard Advisors capabilities to create customized solutions.
- Leverage subject matter experts to develop tailored proposals.
- Support the sales process from prospecting to contract execution and manage the sales pipeline.
- Write structured and persuasive proposals; communicate with executives.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with mid-level client management.
- Align efforts with Mastercard core team and manage external and internal obstacles.
- Partner with project teams to ensure project quality and identify follow-up sales opportunities.
- Contribute to intellectual capital and become a thought partner for clients.
- Participate in recruiting, training, and developing others.
Experience & skills
- Consulting experience from a top-rated firm desirable.
- Payments or banking expertise, especially working with executive leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Strong track record of delivering objectives.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive attitude.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Undergraduate degree required.
