Job description
Al-Futtaim Private Company LLC (OMASCO | Oman) seeks a B2B Assistant Sales Manager to achieve and exceed HVAC project sales targets with a focus on VRF, DX, and Ducted Cassette systems. The role builds a strong pipeline of project opportunities, identifies/generates/converts HVAC enquiries into confirmed orders through technical and commercial engagement, and designs HVAC solutions, prepares cost estimates, and delivers competitive proposals aligned to client requirements. Responsibilities include developing and expanding the customer base by exploring new segments and market opportunities, conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategy and product positioning, and maintaining a balanced, profitable sales portfolio across industries and geographies to mitigate risk. The position ensures timely collection of payments to support healthy cash flow and project profitability, and liaises cross-functionally with internal design, procurement, and installation teams for seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical understanding of HVAC systems (VRF, DX, Ducted Cassette), proficiency with MS Office Suite and estimation/design tools, knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape, and excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills, ideally with regional experience in Oman and a valid Oman/Middle East driving license.

- Design HVAC solutions, prepare cost estimates, and produce competitive proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Develop and expand the customer base by exploring new segments and market opportunities to drive top-line growth.
- Ensure timely collection of payments to support healthy cash flow and overall project profitability.
- Maintain a balanced, profitable sales portfolio across industries and geographies to mitigate concentration risks.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
- Liaise with internal teams (design, procurement, installation) to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain lasting customer relationships to contribute to profitability and division growth.
- Track opportunities and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with division targets and timelines.
Experience & skills
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in HVAC project sales/marketing, preferably within Oman.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, including VRF, DX, and Ducted Cassette solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with estimation/design tools used for HVAC proposals.
- Proven ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to shape sales strategy and positioning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills with a track record of converting bids to orders.
- Valid Oman/Middle East driving license preferred.
- Ability to liaise cross-functionally with design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure execution quality.
- Demonstrated capability to maintain a balanced, profitable sales portfolio and support timely payment collection.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
