The Enterprise Acceptance Lead at Tap Payments is responsible for driving merchant acquisition and enterprise growth within the PayTech and cross-border payment solutions domain across the MENA region, working as an independent, high-achieving sales professional capable of outperforming sales targets within an entrepreneurial environment. The role involves identifying promising merchants and prospects to build and manage a strong sales pipeline, selling cross-border payment solutions and payment services through cold calling, meetings, networking, and events, and supporting merchants in evaluating Tap Paymentsâ capabilities by answering detailed product capability questions. The position requires preparing comprehensive sales presentations and proposals, managing the end-to-end sales process, acting as the primary point of contact for merchants and partners, maintaining a well-organized merchant portfolio, and nurturing key accounts through account management and portfolio management practices. The Enterprise Acceptance Lead collaborates with other sales teams to share business practices, key insights, and industry trends, and applies negotiation techniques and communication skills in English, with preference for Arabic language ability, to close new merchant deals. The role operates within the Tap Payments Business Team supporting businesses navigating the MENA payments ecosystem and involves stakeholder management, client service management, escalation awareness, and handling evolving business duties aligned with company growth. The position requires experience in PayTech, business development, merchant acquisition, cross-border payment solutions sales, sales presentations, proposal preparation, pipeline management, key account management, networking, event-based sales, and sales process management, while ensuring quality work, innovation focus, and proactive sales engagement in enterprise payment environments.

Key responsibilities
- Identify, research, and qualify the most promising merchants and enterprise prospects across target industries to build a sustainable and high-quality pipeline for cross-border payment solutions and PayTech services while continuously analyzing market opportunities within the MENA payments ecosystem
- Execute end-to-end sales activities including cold calling, outbound outreach, in-person meetings, networking, and participation in business events to promote Tap Payments cross-border payment solutions and secure new merchant partnerships
- Guide prospective merchants through the evaluation process by presenting Tap Payments product capabilities, addressing technical and operational questions, and providing detailed explanations of cross-border payment solutions and merchant onboarding requirements
- Prepare comprehensive sales presentations, commercial proposals, and tailored merchant solutions aligned with business needs, ensuring clarity on pricing models, payment capabilities, and operational requirements
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial prospecting to closing, act as the main point of contact for merchants and partners, and coordinate internal resources to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation
- Maintain a well-organized merchant portfolio, nurture key accounts, and develop long-term relationships with merchants to drive adoption of additional payment solutions and services
- Collaborate with internal sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders to share best business practices, competitive insights, industry trends, and customer feedback to optimize sales strategies
- Apply negotiation techniques and structured sales methodologies to close new merchant deals, meet and exceed sales targets, and carry out additional responsibilities aligned with business growth and evolving role requirements
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 4â6 years of role-specific experience in PayTech, cross-border payment solutions, merchant acquisition, or enterprise payment sales with proven ability to manage pipeline development and deal closure
- Possess strong knowledge of PayTech industry trends, payment technologies, cross-border payment solutions, and merchant onboarding processes within the MENA region
- Show capability in executing sales strategies including cold calling, networking, event-based sales, presentations, and proposal preparation to support business development objectives
- Demonstrate experience managing end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation techniques, and contract closure
- Exhibit strong account management and portfolio management experience, including nurturing key accounts and maintaining long-term merchant relationships
- Demonstrate ability to handle client service management, stakeholder management, escalation awareness, and operational coordination with internal teams
- Possess effective communication skills in English with preference for Arabic language ability to support merchant engagement and regional business development
- Hold a preferred degree or equivalent real-world experience combined with hands-on PayTech exposure, independent working capability, and ability to operate in entrepreneurial and high-growth environments
