Job description
Sitting between Omnichannel's business and analytics needs and the central Data team, this Data Products Manager role at Chalhoub Group translates business requirements into actionable specifications for data driven features, metrics, and systems. You collaborate with the Omnichannel Data Analytics team to understand needs for new metrics, features, and functionality, then translate KPIs such as Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), Churn Rate, Conversion Rates, Average Order Value (AOV), and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) into clear requirements for the central Data team. Business stakeholders partner with you to define metrics tied to customer behaviour, segmentation, and personalization strategies across retail. You own and maintain the Omni data product roadmap, keeping priorities aligned to business strategy, customer outcomes, and available Data capacity. Acceptance criteria get defined with stakeholders, and delivered data products get validated against original requirements before anything counts as complete. Data governance matters heavily here too, since every metric needs documenting in the Data Catalog Glossary with definition, formula, domain, and owner filled in. Prioritization runs through the role constantly, weighing competing stakeholder requests against Omnichannel's own goals before submitting them into the central Data backlog. Communication ties everything together, whether that means liaising between Omnichannel and central Data, tracking requests through the backlog, or documenting requirements clearly enough that central Data can build against them without repeated clarification.
