Job description
ADNOC Onshore accounts for over half of ADNOC Group's total oil production, and multi-disciplined projects across that operation move from initial inception through completion, commissioning and handover under this Senior Project Engineer position. Acquisition Requests get created and prepared alongside related documents, and contracting strategy gets developed in coordination with TC(ENG), covering EPC versus PC and call-off contract recommendations. Project scope of work is developed in compliance with approved Engineering packages, and budget estimation from TC(ENG) gets reviewed against contractor quotations to identify optimization opportunities. Technical Queries submitted by contractors are reviewed jointly with engineering, and tender evaluations get assessed against established technical specifications to select suitable bids. You will accompany contractors on site visits to survey work magnitude, locations, and interaction with existing facilities. Project execution strategy gets developed with Site teams in accordance with project execution standards, and progress against the project plan, covering scope, schedule, quality, cost, and earned value (EV), gets monitored and reported to keep delivery on time, cost, safety and quality. Change orders, contractor claims, and variation requests get managed with required approvals secured per the Delegation of Authority, and project risks get tracked through the risk register with high-impact items escalated to the Team Leader. Multinational EPC contractors get managed to sound project management principles and full HSE compliance, spanning FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities through to final completion certificates and close-out reporting.
