Job description
The Business Development Officer – Indirect & Institutional Sales at Emirates NBD is responsible for driving growth in retail banking products through third-party sales channels, including Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) and mortgage brokers. This role is central to expanding the market penetration of Emirates NBD’s retail portfolio — credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, and auto loans — across the UAE. The officer will serve as the key liaison between Emirates NBD and external channel partners, overseeing sales planning, support, marketing promotions, and product or policy communication. The position requires maintaining strong relationships with sales agencies and brokers, ensuring that sales targets are achieved through effective planning, capability development, and operational excellence. The role also involves training partners, improving the customer onboarding process, monitoring sales performance via MIS analytics, and ensuring compliance with fraud prevention and mis-selling standards. The officer is expected to foster productivity improvements through strategic engagement and ensure the bank’s reputation is upheld through high service quality. Success in this position requires strong knowledge of retail banking products, regional market insights, and the ability to align indirect sales efforts with Emirates NBD’s growth strategy.
