Job description
Talabat is looking for a results-driven Team Lead ā Account Management to oversee and develop a team of Account Managers in Manama, Bahrain. The role goes beyond simple team management; it requires an individual who can both lead by example and coach team members to maximize partner success and revenue growth. The successful candidate will personally manage key restaurant partnerships, ensure target achievement, develop tailored account strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize partner performance and satisfaction. This is a critical role contributing to Talabatās mission to build strong, scalable, and profitable partner relationships.

Key responsibilities
- Manage key partner accounts with complex needs, ensuring growth and satisfaction
- Coach and guide a team of account managers to handle client relationships end-to-end
- Monitor and ensure the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Deliver ongoing training and development opportunities for team members
- Track and report team performance with detailed analytics and insights
- Develop and implement account management strategies for revenue and partner success
- Personally oversee high-value restaurant accounts and ensure execution of account plans
- Build and sustain long-term, successful relationships with partners
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and enhance the partner experience
- Use data to assess performance, identify trends, and offer strategic recommendations
- Drive pipeline development and monitor attainment against sales goals
- Identify and implement process improvements and account management best practices
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in a transactional deal cycle environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor and grow team members
- Strong ownership mindset with high dedication to achieving results
- Creative in sales approach and prospect engagement tactics
- Experience working with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
- Proficiency in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make strategic decisions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
