Job description
The Retail Supervisor West (Beauty/Retail) is responsible for overseeing people, standards, customer experience, financial and operational management of Sephora stores within the Jeddah area. This role involves leadership of store teams, translating area performance objectives into store-level sales and KPI targets, and driving execution of the SME Business Plan. The Retail Supervisor must ensure all stores meet pre-agreed sales and commercial KPIs including conversion, average basket size, and customer measures such as CRM recruitment and App sign ups. The role requires extensive experience in sales, customer service, and managing commercial KPIs. Responsibilities include monitoring store productivity, implementing Rotageek and back-office modelling to improve efficiency, and maintaining audit compliance above 85%. A key mandate includes leading a culture of customer obsession and instilling Sephoraâs values in frontline teams. The role also covers merchandising managementâensuring Sephoraâs merchandising concepts and standards are consistently executedâand stock and inventory oversight, including timely stock takes and shrinkage reduction. The supervisor must drive OMNI retailing initiatives, manage and coach Store Managers, recruit and develop talent, and execute people development plans in partnership with training and education. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is required. Additional tools include the Sephora Card loyalty program and supporting the Sephora Collection. The Retail Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining the Happy App and Lovemeter scores above 80%, and enhancing employee satisfaction in alignment with company targets. Arabic and English fluency is mandatory, along with a valid driving license and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across retail and HQ support teams.

- Deliver all pre-agreed sales and KPI performance targets by monitoring performance and implementing appropriate actions
- Ensure exceptional retail and operational standards across all Sephora stores while driving best-in-class customer service
- Ensure compliance with operational activities and drive profitability through coaching and development of Store Managers and store teams
- Lead teams by translating area performance objectives into store-level sales and KPI targets
- Monitor and report performance KPIs, identify areas for improvement across stores and leadership levels
- Coach store managers to balance quality and quantity in store scheduling within set budgets
- Spend four days a week in stores to lead customer and frontline engagement by example
- Implement Sephora Retail priorities to drive commercial success and customer loyalty via Sephora Card and unique offers
- Recruit, develop and prepare talent for succession through structured development plans
- Drive OMNI retailing culture change and implement associated success measures
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 4â6 years of experience in sales, operations, and/or services within the beauty or retail industry
- Proven knowledge and experience in sales, customer service, and commercial KPI environments, including conversion and average basket size
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a commercial background and awareness of the Saudi market
- Comprehensive knowledge of the beauty industry, including trends and latest products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
- High energy, motivation, and ability to drive change independently and collaboratively
- Valid driving license required
