Job description
The Project Manager at Currie & Brown in Ras Al Khaimah is responsible for directing and managing the delivery of large-scale and complex hospitality projects. This role involves leading project teams, establishing delivery plans, governance, and control mechanisms, and managing multiple consultants and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes. The Project Manager oversees financial planning, budgeting, and variance tracking, implements industry best practices and project policies, and provides strategic technical advice. They manage risks, liaise with clients and stakeholders, assure compliance with contracts, and translate business objectives into operational financial targets. Additionally, the role includes talent development, succession planning, and ensuring project teams are skilled and motivated to deliver project objectives. This position demands extensive pre- and post-contract experience, contract administration expertise, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships while delivering projects in line with Currie & Brownâs vision and high standards.

- Direct and manage the delivery of large-scale and complex hospitality projects
- Lead a project team by setting objectives, managing performance, and ensuring staff have necessary skills
- Establish project delivery plans and appropriate control and governance mechanisms
- Manage multiple consultants and contractors to ensure project targets are met
- Independently produce project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring variances
- Implement project processes and policies in line with industry best practices
- Identify, present, and mitigate project risks to senior management
- Liaise and collaborate with clients and key stakeholders to ensure awareness of project progress and expectations
- Analyse complex project data to inform decision-making and advise stakeholders on potential implications
- Provide technical expertise and strategic advice to support successful project delivery
- Assure compliance with contracts and delivery parameters

Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent
- Project management professional certification or accreditation
- Previous experience leading large-scale and complex projects, preferably in hospitality
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead large teams
- Strong pre-contract and post-contract project management experience
- Excellent contract administration skills
- Experience managing stakeholders at executive level
- Ability to implement project governance and control mechanisms
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
