Job description
The Regional Retail Manager at Chalhoub Group is responsible for overseeing multiple luxury homeware retail stores across the GCC, ensuring maximum commercial performance and exceptional guest experiences. This role requires implementing brand guidelines, cascading brand strategies to store teams, coordinating marketing and customer experience initiatives, controlling profitability, monitoring sales performance, and managing stock levels. The manager also provides detailed quantitative and qualitative reports on market trends, competitors, and in-house data, while managing the P&L for the assigned brand and ensuring adherence to budget guidelines. They act as a bridge between back-office operations and the stores, executing audits, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring continuous improvement. Leadership responsibilities include developing and motivating store teams, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities
- Implement brand strategy and cascade it within the network of stores, ensuring alignment with marketing and CX programs.
- Control sales, discounts, and margins to maintain consistent profitability and financial performance.
- Monitor sales figures, stock levels, and manage potential shortages in coordination with merchandising teams.
- Record, analyze, and report on market trends, competitor activities, and in-house performance data to inform strategic decisions.
- Set sales targets per team member and monitor individual performance, providing feedback and appraisals.
- Manage P&L for assigned brands and ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely.
- Develop, motivate, and coach team members to ensure transfer of know-how and sustain a positive work environment.
- Travel across the region to audit stores, implement corrective solutions, and ensure compliance with brand and operational standards.
Experience & skills
- Experience leading a flagship retail store or multiple retail stores within the luxury retail sector.
- Currently based in the UAE with ability to travel across the GCC (UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, KSA).
- UAE driving license preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage P&L.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in developing high-performing retail teams.
- Ability to implement brand strategy and customer experience programs across multiple locations.
- Analytical skills to monitor market trends, competitors, and sales performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexibility and readiness to travel regionally as required.
