Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all decontamination services ensuring compliance with DHA, DOH, and JCIA standards
• Develop and implement decontamination policies and quality management systems
• Ensure staff are appropriately trained and competent in decontamination procedures
• Oversee quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance for all reusable medical devices
• Provide expert guidance on infection control, sterilization, and equipment decontamination across departments
• Monitor and report performance data to Infection Prevention and Control Committees and external regulators
• Ensure efficient financial management and resource planning for decontamination services
• Develop and implement testing and validation procedures for decontamination equipment
• Create training materials and deliver training on decontamination protocols to clinical staff
• Liaise with stakeholders across medical, dental, and laboratory departments to ensure service alignment
• Manage audits and contribute to the hospital-wide infection prevention and control plan
• Drive innovation in decontamination technology and process improvements
• Support new projects and infrastructure developments by providing technical decontamination specifications
