Job description
The Public Relations Consultant will join the Communications Research & Strategy Division under the Communications Strategy Department at Aramco. The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights on company reputation and brand perception across markets. This position involves overseeing global quantitative reputation studies, social listening programs, brand measurement, and data-driven strategy recommendations. The consultant will also manage KPI development, statistical analysis, survey design, and reporting, collaborating with internal partners and external agencies to enhance Saudi Aramco’s reputation and brand equity.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the company’s global quantitative reputation study and supporting qualitative program of focus groups and in-depth interviews.
- Oversee the company’s social listening and insights program system which gauges all Saudi Aramco sentiment across digital media platforms including traditional media, social media, and forums.
- Oversee company brand measurement and research to identify return-on-investment from advertising and sponsorships.
- Develop relevant KPIs and track performance for regular KPI reporting.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal partners to track and measure impacts across events, communications, and public relations activities.
- Manage the company’s central hub and repository of reputation and brand research and data.
- Manage contracting and invoicing associated with the contracted agencies.
- Conduct high-level statistical analysis on available datasets for integrated driver analysis.
- Develop survey and data sourcing design guidance to drive statistical connectivity across diverse data sets while ensuring statistical relevance and cost-effectiveness of individual studies.
Experience & skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in data science or analytics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management experience.
- Extensive background in quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis and visualization, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to draw insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to work with technical tools such as SPSS, Power BI, and Tableau in addition to Pulsar and other audience intelligence software.
- Advanced written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
