Job description
As a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager (Procurement) in the Business Consulting service line, you will drive client excellence across complex projects. You will lead and manage procurement transformation initiatives, integrating technologies, optimizing procurement functions, and delivering strategic impact across diverse industries. Youâll join a collaborative, purpose-driven team dedicated to helping dynamic organizations unlock their growth potential through tailored business advisory solutions, structured across Strategy & Analytics, Business Transformation, and Governance & ESG. This role combines high-level client interaction, project ownership, and process leadership while encouraging authenticity and professional development within a supportive and dynamic firm.

Key responsibilities
- Analyse and redesign procurement functions and operating models to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance, including process mapping and optimization techniques.
- Integrate procurement technologies and systems with existing client infrastructure to support transformation objectives.
- Develop and use category management, vendor management, and procurement frameworks, policies and processes.
- Deliver various phases (such as planning, directing, completion) of project and engagement management for multiple clients across various industries.
- Work closely with senior colleagues and play a key role in client management and practice development.
- Participate in a broad range of business consulting projects and engagements.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships within the team and broader business.
- Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services.
Experience & skills
- 3â5+ years of consulting procurement work experience in a top international consulting firm.
- Bachelor's or Masterâs degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or other related fields.
- Experience in procurement transformation and/or operating model design.
- Studying towards CIPS or an accounting qualification is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong business acumen and analytical thinking.
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites as needed.
- Strong written and spoken English; Arabic speaking is advantageous.
