Job description
KBR Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lead QA/QC Engineer for an Offshore Project based in Abu Dhabi at the Client Office. The role involves leading all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for mega Oil & Gas FEED/EPC projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, regulatory frameworks, and international best practices.

Key responsibilities
- Lead QA/QC activities for offshore Oil & Gas FEED and EPC projects exceeding US$1B in scope
- Ensure adherence to ADNOC quality standards and client-specific requirements
- Oversee quality management systems, audits, and compliance processes
- Provide technical expertise in quality assurance across project lifecycle
- Support inspection, testing, and certification of materials and equipment
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to resolve quality issues
- Drive continuous improvement in QA/QC processes and practices
- Prepare and maintain project quality documentation and reports
- Ensure all QA/QC activities align with health, safety, and environmental standards
Experience & skills
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong expertise in all aspects of QA/QC within Offshore Oil & Gas projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience on ADNOC projects
- At least 5 years in a similar QA/QC lead role on mega FEED/EPC projects (>US$1B)
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
- Preference for Arab Nationals with Oil & Gas project experience
