Job description
Tahaluf seeks a Website Manager to oversee and elevate the company’s digital presence, ensuring all websites are fast, secure, intuitive, and aligned with strategic growth objectives. This role is responsible for end-to-end website management, optimisation, content strategy, security, and technical performance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive engagement, traffic, and measurable KPIs.

Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement, manage, and continuously optimise Tahaluf’s websites end-to-end
- Serve as first responder for website issues, troubleshooting with speed and precision
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve website security risks and breaches
- Maintain and enhance HTML, JavaScript, APIs, and backend performance
- Optimise load speed, SEO performance, localisation, image/video assets, and content clusters
- Conduct content audits to ensure quality, relevance, and remove duplication
- Champion best-in-class UI/UX through collaboration with vendors and specialists
- Coordinate with marketing, content, data, and commercial teams for aligned updates
- Build strategies to grow digital communities, increase traffic, and deliver KPIs
- Manage website domains, hosting, user accounts, and technical documentation
- Ensure ADA compliance and adherence to governance standards
- Track competitor websites, emerging tools, and best practices for innovation
Experience & skills
- Experience managing complex, high-traffic websites
- Hands-on expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, MySQL, SQL
- Proficiency with CMS platforms including DNN and WordPress, including customisation
- Strong understanding of web servers, hosting, firewalls, and security audits
- Proven experience in backend optimisation, bug fixing, and performance tuning
- Solid knowledge of SEO, accessibility standards, and Google Analytics/AdWords
- Ability to manage content strategy and engagement based on performance insights
- Familiarity with emerging web technologies, APIs, chatbots, and GCP
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and crisis-management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
