Job description
Each shift at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi needs one person with oversight of the whole facility, and this Duty Manager provides it, coordinating clinical and non-clinical resources and support services to keep care safe and of high quality. Multidisciplinary teams look to you for guidance during the shift, and clinical or non-clinical emergencies are activated and managed under your direction. When a Unit Manager or Head of Department is absent, operational support and decisions fall to you. Clinical quality is measured against set policies and procedures, with regulatory, quality and risk management standards applied across disciplines. Advanced nursing care in emergency or complicated situations may be needed at short notice. Developing staff and keeping teams engaged both feed a positive patient experience. Candidates need a bachelor of nursing and 3 to 5 years of senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital, including time as a Duty Manager, Shift In Charge or Nursing Supervisor in acute care, with a master's degree desirable. Preference is given to UAE Nationals under the Emiratization Program.
