Mondrian Abu Dhabi is poised to become the next iconic destination, and weāre searching for a dynamic and visionary Director of Marketing & PR to lead the pre-opening phase. In this pivotal role, you will be at the helm of shaping and elevating the brand's presence, crafting compelling marketing strategies and public relations initiatives that position Mondrian Abu Dhabi as a standout luxury destination. Your leadership will ensure that Mondrianās signature blend of creativity, culture, and style resonates at every touchpoint, from digital platforms to media relations.

Key responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive annual marketing plans to elevate brand awareness and drive revenue growth across hotel rooms, F&B outlets, wellness offerings, and events
- Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation across key revenue streams for maximum ROI
- Collaborate with Brand Operations and Revenue leaders to set objectives and create innovative marketing solutions, tracking performance and reporting to stakeholders
- Champion the Mondrian brand ensuring its essence is consistently conveyed across all guest touchpoints
- Lead the creation of unique, culturally inspired guest experiences and foster relationships with off-property partners
- Align with Sales team to develop brand-consistent collateral and communicate the propertyās value to key business audiences
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns with Revenue Management and oversee OTA advertising
- Collaborate with global e-Commerce team to optimize paid media campaigns and assess marketing performance
- Strengthen relationships with the global PR team and regional PR agencies to enhance the hotel's media presence
- Ensure all digital content reflects the brandās core values and guide social media strategy and content creation
- Oversee media, influencer, and press visits, ensuring engagements align with brand messaging and standards
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing and PR management
- At least 3 years in a Director-level role, ideally in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment
- Experience in a global work environment
- Pre-opening experience is highly preferred
- Strong brand orientation with the ability to connect with customer needs
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship and influence skills
- Inspirational leadership abilities and team alignment skills
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and delivering high-return initiatives
- Expertise in luxury hospitality marketing trends
- Knowledge of digital marketing, paid media, SEO, and social media
- Experience working with PR agencies, influencers, and media
- Creative mindset with a data-driven approach
