Job description
Tahaluf (a joint venture between Informa PLC, SAFCSP, and the Events Investment Fund) seeks a highly skilled Senior Designer for Portfolio 3 at Roshn Front, Riyadh, to serve as the primary design partner shaping creative output and identity across large-scale event brands. As the first dedicated Senior Designer within this portfolio, the role spans strategic and hands-on delivery across pitch presentations, brand identity development and refresh, brand guidelines, social content, marketing materials, digital assets, and event collateral, ensuring accuracy, on-brand execution, and high craft standards. Operating within Saudi Arabiaâs leading B2B live and on-demand events organizerâbehind record-breaking platforms such as LEAP (technology), Cityscape (real estate), Black Hat MEA (largest CTF record), and CPHI Middle East (pharma debut)âthe position collaborates with marketing and brand teams, the portfolio Vice President, the Creative Director, and external agencies to brief, execute, review, and guide creative work. Responsibilities include end-to-end project ownership from concept to delivery, stakeholder communication and expectation alignment, proactive progress reporting and risk flagging, creative strategy contributions aligned to business goals and market trends, reimagining and refreshing existing brand guidelines, creating new brand identities for future IPs with consistent systems, maintaining quality control and brand consistency across print, digital, and event environments, and setting the creative standard as the team scales. The role requires Arabic fluency (speaking and writing), proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, familiarity with motion/video tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Figma (bonus), awareness of social trends and industry best practices, and the ability to thrive amid occasional last-minute requests, weekend work, and extended hours typical of the events industry. Key responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize multiple design projects end-to-endâfrom concept through executionâmaintaining high visual standards and alignment with brand guidelines
- Plan timelines, balance competing deadlines, and ensure on-time, error-free delivery across presentations, social content, digital assets, marketing materials, and event collateral
- Collaborate with marketing and brand teams, Portfolio VP, Creative Director, and agencies to translate briefs into effective, on-brand creative
- Proactively update leadership on progress, risks, and dependencies; facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external partners
- Contribute to creative strategy for event brands, aligning design solutions with business objectives and market trends
- Refresh existing brand guidelines and create new brand identities for future IPs, building robust, consistent systems
- Uphold craft quality, accuracy, and audience focus across print, digital, and on-site event environments; conduct quality control before release
- Review and guide third-party creative outputs to ensure adherence to standards; provide actionable feedback and approvals
- Establish and maintain file organization, version control, and handover documentation to ensure continuity
- Support capability building by setting best-practice processes and mentoring future designers as the team grows
Experience & skills
- Minimum six years of professional design experience in an agency, events, or brand-side creative role
- Arabic fluency (speaking and writing) with strong Arabic typesetting/localization capability
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus
- Knowledge of Figma is a bonus; willingness to learn new tools and workflows
- Demonstrated strength in brand identity creation, brand guideline development, and refreshing existing brands
- A portfolio showing impactful consumer-facing work with excellence in typography, layout, hierarchy, and technical execution across digital and print
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with occasional last-minute requests, weekend work, and extended hours when deadlines require
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage timelines and multiple projects independently; confident communicator who can collaborate, take feedback, and push back to protect quality
