Job description
We are a leading telecom and digital services provider driving the UAE’s digital transformation. The Manager – Wholesale Voice & Messaging is responsible for managing global roaming agreements, voice and messaging services, and exploring new opportunities in areas like M2M, IoT, and 5G. The role includes managing complex commercial negotiations, maintaining strong relationships with global telecom partners, and ensuring excellence in service quality and profitability. The position requires deep commercial and technical expertise and involvement in global wholesale events to enhance the company's reach and profitability.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Exceed revenue, margin, cost, and quality KPIs for existing and new wholesale businesses.
- Manage approximately 250 global preferred roaming agreements.
- Drive new business development across voice, messaging, roaming, IoT, M2M, satellite, access numbers, and 5G.
- Maintain strong relationships with MNOs, MVNOs, MVNEs, aggregators, and global telecom partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations and conclude long-term, high-value bilateral agreements.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery for IDD calling, roaming, and messaging.
- Optimize internal and external business operations including agreements, order management, and delivery.
- Represent the organization at major global wholesale events such as ITW, WAS, Capacity, etc.
- Improve consumer and enterprise profitability through cost reduction strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all wholesale processes, governance, and policies.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in the Wholesale Mobility Business.
- Proven track record in identifying and driving new business opportunities.
- Strong commercial and technical knowledge of IoV, M2M, eSIM, satellite, 5G, VoLTE, SoR.
- Experience in managing partner relationships and achieving revenue and margin targets.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience with high-value commercial deals.
- Fluency in English with strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with wholesale business tools such as CSG, Mobileum, Syniverse, Nextgen.
