Job description
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is seeking a Manager, Strategic Projects to lead the development, governance, and enhancement of portfolio management tools across the CEMEA region. The role blends consulting expertise with technology and vendor management, helping Visa and its clients grow and optimize their payments business. The initial focus will be on card portfolio management, expanding later into other areas. The position involves tool development, vendor oversight, compliance alignment, and direct client engagement, requiring both strategic insight and hands-on execution skills.

Key responsibilities
- Supervise the design, development, and continuous improvement of portfolio management tools for VCA in CEMEA
- Collect and define business and technical requirements from Visa clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Ensure tools align with client needs across acquisition, activation, retention, portfolio migration, and risk optimization
- Manage third party vendors developing and supporting optimization and campaign tools
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely implementation
- Partner with cross functional teams to ensure compliance with risk management, data security, and regulatory requirements
- Act as liaison between consultants, technical teams, and vendors
- Engage clients directly to gather feedback and translate needs into tool specifications
- Guide clients on best practices in card portfolio analytics, loyalty optimization, and campaign execution
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field (Masterās/MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in consulting, technology-enabled transformation, portfolio management, or marketing technology
- Proven track record in product management, campaign management, or marketing automation tool implementation
- Understanding of customer lifecycle management and automation best practices
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Unica, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Knowledge of digital payments, loyalty programs, and premium card value propositions
- Ability to oversee vendor relationships including contracts and service-level agreements
- Familiarity with financial services compliance and risk management processes
- Strong cross functional project management and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic, Russian, or French a plus)
- Experience in CEMEA payments landscape preferred
