Job description
The Business Development Manager at Bayut & dubizzle is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, signing up clients, and ensuring client success in real estate property listings. The role involves proactively acquiring new and lapsed clients, verifying their advertising commitments, and collaborating with Sales Support to complete efficient client onboarding. The manager ensures all clients are trained to maximize the platform tools and monitors client health and quality metrics, maintaining high standards of service and adherence to company expectations. Responsibilities include communicating effectively to manage client expectations, meeting or exceeding sales targets, staying up-to-date with property laws and real estate market trends, and maintaining accurate reporting dashboards. This position requires knowledge of sales processes, real estate market awareness, client relationship management, and the ability to provide excellent customer experience, driving growth and profitability for Bayut & dubizzle.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Identify new clients through networking, competitor research, and government registration sites
- Sign up new and previously expired or cancelled real estate accounts not currently subscribed to Bayut & dubizzle corporate accounts
- Ensure full client advertising commitments to Bayut & dubizzle and competitors are documented when signing contracts
- Coordinate with Sales Support to complete client onboarding efficiently, providing all necessary documentation prior to contract submission
- Train new clients in platform tools and ensure attendance at Bayut & dubizzle onboarding training for optimal utilization of services
- Monitor client health and quality metrics continuously to ensure efficient use of services and prevent malpractice
- Communicate effectively to manage client expectations and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Track and update reporting dashboards to monitor sales activities and performance targets
- Stay informed about property laws and local real estate developments to provide accurate advice and maintain market awareness
Experience & skills
- Minimum secondary education; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid UAE driving license
- 1.5–2 years of experience in business development or sales
- Basic knowledge of sales processes and account management
- Continuous learning of the business, financials, products/services, market, and client needs
- Ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Flexibility to learn and adapt to new products and services
- Entrepreneurial spirit with goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and performance targets
