Job description
The Assistant Finance Manager at Legend Rent a Car will support the Finance Manager in managing all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective cash flow oversight. This role involves preparing timely financial statements, conducting in-depth analyses, coordinating audits, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to maintain robust financial controls within the car rental business.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and aligning financial objectives with business goals.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support VAT filing, tax audits, and adherence to UAE tax laws.
- Generate Monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Analyze financial trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure financial statements comply with IFRS and accounting standards.
- Reconcile General Ledger, intercompany, vendor, customer, and key accounts.
- Monitor and manage company cash flow and daily fund flows.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal departments to resolve financial issues.
- Review Receivable and Payable reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional accounting certifications (CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax regulations.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to reconcile accounts, manage financial data, and generate insightful reports.
- Team-oriented with ability to support finance operations effectively.
