Job description
Serve as Wellsite Team Leader within Integrated Well Services (IWS) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, responsible for leading and supervising drilling and completion operations at field or extraction sites. Oversee project activities following IWS Management System guidelines, international and local standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Provide mentoring, technical guidance, and supervision to Field Engineers to ensure daily wellsite operations meet quality, safety, and efficiency objectives. Manage cross-functional teams, support external customers, analyze operational data to resolve complex problems, and ensure verification and sign-off of work objectives. Promote adherence to HSE standards, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence in drilling activities. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project performance, compliance, and workforce development.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise day-to-day wellsite operations, ensuring all drilling and completion activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and according to plan.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to Field Engineers and operational personnel to enhance technical skills and operational performance.
- Manage cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects for customers, coordinating with engineering, operations, and support functions.
- Support external customers at wellsite by providing technical knowledge, problem-solving, and direction for complex operational challenges.
- Analyze and interpret system information and operational data to identify issues, implement solutions, and maintain continuous improvement.
- Ensure that work is verified and documented to enable successful customer delivery and completion of agreed project objectives.
- Oversee compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies during all wellsite operations.
- Facilitate communication and relationship building with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain collaboration, trust, and operational efficiency.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a drilling supervisor or within Integrated Well Services.
- Proven ability to supervise wellsite operations and ensure compliance with project and safety standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and influence others effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to travel at short notice and work away from home for extended periods as required by field operations.
- Capacity to work in shift-based schedules and manage operational priorities under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing operational data, resolving technical issues, and ensuring project objectives are met.
