Job description
Cigna Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operational Finance Manager to lead its Operational Finance and Credit Control teams across the Middle East and Africa region. Based in Dubai, this leadership role manages accounts payable and receivable operations, supervises a team of 12 professionals, and drives process improvement initiatives. The position requires a hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence with strategic project delivery, while building strong cross-functional relationships across the business.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and support the Operational Finance and Credit Control teams, providing guidance on complex queries and dispute resolution.
- Oversee the analysis and processing of expense reports and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Approve payments and employee reimbursements via the expense platform.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Manage corporate credit card programs and travel expense platforms (Concur & CWT).
- Develop and implement policies and structures for effective credit control and cash collection, aligned with compliance standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, sales, and client management teams to ensure timely debt resolution.
- Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and support strategic projects across the Middle East and Africa region.
- Collaborate with other finance teams to achieve departmental goals.
Experience & skills
- Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
