Job description
Concessions, works, goods and services for Abu Dhabi Airports and its subsidiaries are grouped into categories, and this senior manager acts as the procurement authority for the ones assigned. Category strategies built on spend analysis, market intelligence, demand forecasts, commercial modelling and risk assessment aim for savings, efficiency and lower risk. Tenders run under your direction, from bidder prequalification and document preparation with Legal to bid opening, evaluation, negotiation and award recommendation. Disputes and claims are resolved with stakeholders when they arise. Vendor classification, evaluation and registration frameworks are designed and maintained, and supplier performance is monitored. Existing contracts get reviewed for value, and automation initiatives help procurement work faster. Sectional objectives, KPIs and budget sit with you, along with workforce planning that supports Emiratization. Your team receives coaching and development, and audits and management reports keep governance tight. Eight years in procurement, sourcing or supply chain is required, with proven category and contract management and large team leadership. CIPS is preferred, and aviation experience is an advantage.
