Job description
The role focuses on achieving Business Banking FX revenue targets by cross selling treasury solutions to existing clients and acquiring new-to-bank customers that require foreign exchange services. Responsibilities include driving FX revenue, formulating business plans to grow treasury income, delivering revenue through funded and non-funded facilities, FX and remittance volumes, margin trading, forward contracts, futures and options, and exchange products. The role requires collaboration with analytics teams to implement client penetration campaigns and identify treasury opportunities within RM portfolios. It involves working closely with Relationship Managers, Virtual RMs, Product teams, and Treasury & Capital Markets to maximize opportunities through continuous communication, feedback, coordination, and cross referrals. The role includes developing systems and channels to proactively solicit business within defined risk-reward parameters, implementing governance mechanisms to monitor spot and cash transactions to ensure intraday risk remains within limits, and ensuring product profitability through spread maintenance and volume growth. Additional responsibilities include training and mentoring Business Banking RMs on treasury solutions, analyzing customer behavior and market data, guiding Liabilities & Cash Management RMs on treasury products, mediating intersegment product disputes, ensuring customer penetration and product diversification, performing ongoing credit assessments, making urgent client decisions, and ensuring compliance with KYC, AML, account reviews, high-value transaction monitoring, STR escalation, and SOP adherence.

Key responsibilities
- Drive FX revenue by cross selling treasury solutions to existing and new-to-bank Business Banking customers.
- Formulate business plans and initiatives to grow treasury revenues and achieve FX targets.
- Deliver revenue through funded and non-funded facilities, FX and remittance volumes, margin trading, forward contracts, futures, and options.
- Work with analytics teams to develop and implement client campaigns that increase penetration of treasury products.
- Collaborate closely with RMs, VRMs, Product teams, and TCM to maximize cross-sell opportunities and manage ongoing feedback.
- Develop systems and channels to proactively solicit business in line with defined risk-reward parameters.
- Implement governance mechanisms to monitor spot and cash transactions to ensure intraday risk remains within limits.
- Ensure product profitability for RM portfolios through spread maintenance and volume growth.
- Train and mentor Business Banking RMs on treasury solutions and guide them on product-based customer needs.
- Analyze customer behavior, market data, and competition to recommend strategies.
- Provide direction and support to Liabilities and Cash Management RMs on treasury products.
- Mediate intersegment disputes related to treasury products.
- Conduct credit assessments that directly impact revenue and credit loss risk.
- Make urgent client decisions based on available facts and risk considerations.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, STR escalation, and internal procedures.
- Recommend and finalize training documents related to FX solutions.
Experience & skills
- 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in the financial industry.
- Deep understanding of the UAE SME and treasury market.
- Experience managing FX and treasury-related products and services.
- Ability to cross sell treasury solutions across complex Business Banking relationships.
- Strong grasp of risk management related to spot and cash transactions.
- Experience with FX products including forwards, futures, options, and margin trading.
- Knowledge of KYC, AML, high-value transaction monitoring, and STR escalation requirements.
- Ability to analyze market conditions and customer behavior.
- Strong judgment for credit assessments and urgent client decision-making.
- Ability to provide training, guidance, and support to RMs on treasury products.
