Job description
Citigold Private Client (CPC) and Citigold (CG) are key segments within Citi's Wealth franchise, serving a growing client base in the UAE. The Head of CPC and CG will drive the growth and profitability of these segments, overseeing strategy execution, client engagement, financial performance, compliance, and people leadership. Reporting to the Head of Asia South Wealth, the role ensures alignment with global and regional objectives while maintaining a strong client-centric and digitally enabled service culture.

Key responsibilities
- Drive asset and liabilities growth actions to strengthen and meet all balance sheet targets
- Drive sustainable business growth, growing Net New Investment Assets, revenues, and profitability
- Oversee execution of Asia South Wealth strategic plan within UAE
- Communicate vision and strategy to motivate and engage staff
- Drive Wealth Advisor and Client Digital/Mobile strategies for CPC and CG
- Drive planning and execution of CPC and CG Technology Book of Work in UAE
- Set strategic direction for products, partners, business development, segments, and channels
- Grow portfolio through new client acquisition and cross-sell of appropriate products
- Build and deepen customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Continuously assess risk indicators and ensure strict compliance
- Recommend policy enhancements and foster openness in surfacing issues
- Exercise sound credit and business judgment to safeguard bank and customer interests
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and guidelines
- Manage team on a no-surprise basis and minimize documentation outstanding
- Provide leadership and guidance to CPC/CG UAE Management Team
- Set goals for each sales channel and adapt to environmental changes
- Coordinate initiatives to close any gaps to plan
- Partner with other Citi functions to develop and execute CPC and CG business plan
- Represent CPC and CG internally and externally as appropriate
- Embed strong culture of ethics, compliance, and controls
- Lead Client Obsession initiatives to maintain top NPS ratings
- Plan and execute actions to ensure CPC and CG Key Priorities and Scorecard are delivered
- Drive digital servicing and acquisitions
- Ensure audit readiness and strong controls
- Manage organization structure and talent for business results
- Recruit, retain, and develop leadership talent
- Execute Client Advisor growth plans
- Strategically develop talent via training and programs
- Coach and mentor direct reports into high-quality managers
- Implement Citi people management practices for excellent employee experience
- Support Wealth career path strategies and training
Experience & skills
- 15+ years of relevant strategic and operational work experience
- Proven track record as senior leader in business management, strategy, sales, financial performance, risk & controls
- Proven experience leading transformation and business trajectory change
- Extensive knowledge of consumer bank and wealth management products, services, and markets
- Understanding of competitive landscape for affluent and high-net-worth segments
- Strong decision-making ability to maximize results
- Ability to build internal relationships across stakeholders and geographies
- Proven leadership skills in matrixed environment
- Public presence with clients, local partners, and regulators
- Understanding of Citigroupās policies (preferred)
- Understanding of compliance and regulations (preferred)
- Awareness of Citi people processes and policies (preferred)
- Bachelorās degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
- MBA preferred
