Job description
The Security Managed Services Analyst is responsible for administrating and operating network security devices across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and high standards of system resilience and protection. Based in Jeddah, the analyst maintains expert knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and leads efforts to enhance security processes, identify unutilized features, and implement best practices across the team. The role involves designing and architecting secure infrastructure solutions, applying problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network vulnerabilities, ensuring systems remain patched and compliant, and leading a team of network security engineers. The analyst will play a critical role in maintaining and evolving Accenture’s managed security environment by driving continuous enhancement of controls, technology alignment, and threat mitigation initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Administer and operate network security devices to ensure continuous protection and compliance.
- Maintain expert knowledge of security technologies and deliver process and system improvements.
- Identify and maximize underutilized features within existing security solutions for enhanced value.
- Design and architect comprehensive security solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to detect, analyze, and remediate network and security flaws.
- Ensure all security solutions are patched, up to date, and compliant with internal policies.
- Identify performance and security gaps as part of ongoing improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Lead a team of network security engineers to execute operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in network and security technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Next Generation Firewalls such as Cisco FTD or Palo Alto.
- Experience with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Web Application Firewalls, and Load Balancers (F5 LTM).
- Knowledge of Cisco ISE, Database Security (Imperva, IBM Guardium), proxy solutions, and email gateways.
- Proficiency in packet capture and analysis methodologies for threat identification and resolution.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCIE-Security, F5, or SANS.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, compliant security architectures across hybrid environments.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding and mentoring network security teams.
