Job description
Siemens Industrial LLC is hiring an Area Project Manager to lead energy performance and ESCO projects across the UAE and Oman under its Smart Infrastructure division. This senior-level position combines strategic oversight and hands-on project execution, requiring expertise in MEP, BMS, energy systems, and regional codes like ASHRAE. The role involves cross-functional coordination, technical reporting, quality control, and direct client interaction, making it ideal for a results-oriented leader who thrives in a high-impact, future-focused engineering environment. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Operations for Sustainability and manage both internal teams and external subcontractors to ensure the timely, compliant, and profitable delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage ESCO and smart infrastructure projects across UAE and Oman.
- Ensure project compliance with ASHRAE standards, technical specifications, and client requirements.
- Oversee multidisciplinary engineering efforts including MEP and BMS system integration.
- Administer contracts and manage project activities from a technical and commercial standpoint.
- Mentor and guide project managers, while coordinating project parameters with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and commissioning teams to improve project methods and profitability.
- Conduct regular project reviews and present status reports to Head of Operations.
- Develop RFPs and manage subcontractor performance and procurement processes.
- Implement performance monitoring frameworks and enforce QA/QC protocols.
- Drive compliance with applicable codes, industry practices, and company policies.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 20ā25 years of experience managing large-scale engineering projects.
- PMP certification from PMI or IPMA-C is mandatory.
- Strong command of ASHRAE codes and MEP/BMS systems.
- Proven track record in the UAE; GCC experience is an asset.
- Experience in energy optimization and digital infrastructure projects.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in reporting, documentation, and use of project management tools.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
