Job description
The Manager - Operational Readiness ensures all operational aspects are primed for the successful launch and day-to-day service continuity of state-of-the-art entertainment venues and facilities at Qiddiya Investment Company. Operating from the City Command Unit (CCU), the role leads and coordinates shift-based operations, acts as the primary escalation point for incidents and disruptions, and drives timely decisions and rapid response while supervising CCU Operators and allocating tasks across operational streams. The manager conducts pre- and post-shift briefings for seamless handovers, monitors performance through dashboards and digital tools to identify service gaps, documents incidents, decisions and shift activity for traceability and continuous improvement, enforces safety processes, SOPs and service standards across providers, and coordinates in real time with field teams and other control centers to deliver a consistent guest experience. The role also supports cross-functional communication by relaying accurate information to stakeholders during active situations and requires proven operational strategy execution, strong project management, data-driven analysis, impactful staff training, and knowledge of local market and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all operational activities during assigned shifts from the City Command Unit (CCU) to ensure service continuity and process compliance.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for incidents and disruptions, make timely decisions, and ensure rapid response and resolution.
- Supervise CCU Operators, manage shift performance, and allocate tasks effectively across operational streams.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift briefings to align priorities and ensure seamless handovers between shifts.
- Monitor performance using dashboards and digital tools, identify service gaps, and escalate issues as needed.
- Document incidents, decisions, and shift activity accurately to support traceability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety processes, SOPs, and service standards across all service providers.
- Coordinate in real time with field teams and other control centers to deliver a consistent guest experience.
- Support cross-functional communication by relaying accurate, timely information to stakeholders during active situations.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in operations management or a related role, ideally within entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale project settings.
- Demonstrate the ability to conceptualize and execute operational strategies that drive efficiency and enhance service delivery.
- Exhibit strong project management capabilities with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Apply excellent analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven insights for operational decision-making.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Show demonstrated experience in developing and delivering impactful training programs for staff.
- Operate in a highly organized manner, managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Leverage knowledge of the local market and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia as a strong advantage.
