Job description
The Equipment Management Manager is responsible for managing regional warehouses and overseeing the full lifecycle of equipment inventory, including forecasting, storage, and distribution, within a fast-growing food delivery and consumer product logistics environment. The role involves establishing and optimizing inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment, designing and executing equipment issuance strategies to ensure riders are properly equipped, and ensuring equipment quality and brand alignment through standardized procurement, inspection, and distribution processes. The position requires working closely with city operations teams to forecast demand and coordinate local equipment distribution while managing equipment-related budgets, cost controls, and vendor relationships. The role includes maintaining detailed records and reports on inventory levels, equipment loss or damage, and distribution metrics, and requires familiarity with warehouse systems (WMS) and inventory control tools. The position operates within a global delivery technology company environment, supporting operational scalability across regions, enhancing warehouse operations, supply chain management, logistics inventory management, and distribution planning. The manager will support cross-regional operations, manage ground operations, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure operational efficiency in equipment lifecycle management, inventory tracking, procurement, quality inspection, warehouse storage management, demand forecasting, and distribution planning across expanding international markets.

Key responsibilities
- Manage regional warehouses and oversee the full lifecycle of equipment inventory including inventory forecasting, warehouse storage management, equipment distribution, and inventory tracking while ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining accurate stock levels, and coordinating cross-regional warehouse operations aligned with business growth and operational demand
- Establish and optimize inventory control processes by implementing structured inventory management frameworks, monitoring stock levels, ensuring timely stock replenishment, reducing stock discrepancies, and maintaining operational discipline using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control tools
- Design and execute equipment issuance strategies by coordinating with city operations teams, aligning issuance schedules with rider onboarding requirements, forecasting equipment demand, and ensuring all riders receive required operational equipment at the appropriate time and location
- Ensure equipment quality and brand alignment by implementing standardized procurement processes, performing quality inspection, managing equipment lifecycle management, and enforcing consistent distribution standards across regional warehouse and logistics operations
- Collaborate with city operations teams and cross-regional stakeholders to forecast demand, coordinate local equipment distribution, optimize logistics management, and support ground operations across multiple operational markets
- Manage equipment-related budgets, cost control initiatives, and vendor management activities including supplier selection, procurement negotiations, cost optimization strategies, and monitoring vendor performance to ensure efficient supply chain management
- Maintain detailed records and generate inventory reporting on stock levels, equipment loss or damage, distribution metrics, and operational performance using inventory tracking systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Oversee ground operations and regional logistics activities by coordinating warehouse operations, monitoring distribution planning, improving operational workflows, and supporting expansion initiatives across new markets and operational regions
Experience & skills
- Obtain a Bachelor’s degree or above and demonstrate at least 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, logistics management, or logistics inventory management including hands-on experience with inventory lifecycle management and equipment distribution
- Demonstrate familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control tools including experience managing inventory tracking, stock replenishment, warehouse storage management, and operational reporting
- Possess experience in managing regional warehouse operations including demand forecasting, distribution planning, equipment lifecycle management, and logistics coordination across multiple operational locations
- Demonstrate experience in procurement processes, vendor management, cost control, and budget management related to equipment procurement, warehouse operations, and logistics supply chain management
- Show capability to manage ground operations and coordinate with cross-regional teams including city operations teams, warehouse personnel, and logistics stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency
- Demonstrate experience maintaining inventory reporting, tracking equipment loss or damage, monitoring distribution metrics, and ensuring accurate operational records using inventory management systems
- Possess experience in implementing inventory control processes, optimizing warehouse workflows, and improving operational efficiency through structured inventory management and logistics planning
- Demonstrate fluency in English and ability to support cross-regional coordination, international operational environments, and global logistics operations
