Job description
"The Senior Named Account Executive β South Africa is responsible for driving enterprise sales growth across large strategic accounts in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, with a primary focus on South Africa. Based in Dubai or London, this role manages complex enterprise sales cycles, builds executive-level relationships, and develops strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets. The position requires strong expertise in cybersecurity and cloud-based technologies, with the ability to position advanced solutions to C-level and senior technical stakeholders across key verticals such as public sector, BFSI, manufacturing, and energy.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned named enterprise accounts.
- Drive proactive βhunterβ sales activities to penetrate and expand targeted accounts.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract closure.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful deal execution.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with channel partners and alliances within the territory.
- Engage cross-functional internal teams to support technical validation and deal progression.
- Deliver compelling value propositions tailored to enterprise customer needs.
- Monitor competitive landscape and execute competitive displacement strategies.
Experience & skills
- Fluency in English.
- 15+ years of technology sales experience, including 8+ years selling cybersecurity or cloud solutions.
- At least 8 years managing large enterprise accounts through full sales lifecycle stages.
- Proven direct-touch selling experience across South Africa.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and internet architecture.
- Experience selling solutions such as SASE, ZTNA, CASB, WAF, SWG, RBI, FaaS, or DDoS.
- Experience selling into enterprise verticals including public sector, BFSI, manufacturing, and energy.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience using Salesforce and BI tools for forecasting and reporting.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
