Job description
The Compliance Lead Analyst in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and execution of the companyâs compliance programs in alignment with regulatory frameworks governing capital market operations. The role provides subject-matter expertise on laws and regulations issued by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and other financial regulatory bodies, ensuring all business activities comply with national and international standards. The incumbent conducts risk-based compliance assessments, reviews internal policies and controls, and leads the enhancement of the compliance monitoring plan. Core responsibilities include monitoring regulatory updates, managing compliance reporting and submissions to regulators, investigating potential compliance breaches, and ensuring corrective actions are executed. The Compliance Lead Analyst contributes to process improvement initiatives, promotes policy adherence across departments, and fosters a culture of compliance within the organization. The role also involves preparing detailed reports that support internal decision-making and regulatory transparency, while maintaining professional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. The position requires strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of capital market compliance and regulatory governance. Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles within the financial or capital markets sector, and hold a Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

- Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and directives issued by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and other financial regulators.
- Conduct risk-based compliance assessments and reviews of company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the compliance monitoring plan in alignment with regulatory expectations.
- Manage regulatory reporting processes and ensure timely and accurate submissions to relevant authorities.
- Investigate and document compliance breaches or incidents, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Track regulatory changes and ensure company policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
- Prepare and submit department reports that meet organizational objectives and compliance standards.
- Ensure internal and external stakeholder satisfaction through timely, accurate, and professional compliance support.
- Promote adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance standards across all business units.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and increased operational efficiency.
- Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and external parties, representing the company professionally and ethically.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles, ideally within capital markets or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations and relevant financial regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience conducting risk-based compliance assessments and implementing monitoring plans.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and integrate them into organizational policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Experience preparing compliance and regulatory reports with high-quality documentation standards.
- Knowledge of capital market operations and financial products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels.
