Job description
The Manager for Capital Projects & Infrastructure (CP&I) Advisory at Teneo Dubai DIFC Financial Advisory is responsible for delivering integrated financial and infrastructure advisory across the lifecycle of capital-intensive projects. The role focuses on Governance and Operational Excellence, including designing operating models, establishing governance frameworks, developing delegation of authority (DoA) matrices, drafting policies and procedures, and enhancing organizational performance and efficiency. The position involves oversight of projects in feasibility, planning, procurement, financing, delivery, operations, and closure, including contract strategy and dispute management. The Manager will manage junior staff, engage with boards, management teams, lenders, and shareholders, and contribute to business development, thought leadership, and client engagement while maintaining high-quality deliverables within planned timescales. The role requires proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and familiarity with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Visio, with professional Arabic skills preferred.

Key responsibilities
- Lead CP&I projects, managing junior staff and ensuring high-quality deliverables within planned timescales
- Design and implement governance frameworks, operating models, policies, and procedures to improve organizational performance
- Develop delegation of authority and RACI matrices, and organizational charts for personnel and departments
- Provide oversight across project lifecycle including feasibility, planning, procurement, financing, delivery, operations, and closure with risk management
- Engage with clients including boards, management teams, lenders, and shareholders, fostering distinctive client relationships and contributing to client presentations
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, pitches, research documents, marketing events, and sector-specific initiatives
- Build technical expertise and sector knowledge, coach and mentor junior colleagues, and support leadership in creating an inclusive environment
- Manage multiple workstreams, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver under tight deadlines and adapt skills across offerings if market conditions change
Experience & skills
- Minimum 7 years of total experience, including at least 3 years in an advisory environment; Big 4 or recognized advisory firm experience preferred
- Proven experience in construction, infrastructure, or capital-intensive projects sectors
- Demonstrated experience in governance, operating model design, policy development, organizational transformation, and performance improvement
- Experience developing delegation of authority and RACI matrices, and organizational structures for organizations
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, operational frameworks, and organizational design
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools
- Professional Arabic language skills preferred; Primavera P6 and Microsoft Visio familiarity preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and people management skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight deadlines
