The Senior Project Manager – Banking and Strategic Transformation in Doha, Ad Dawḩah, Qatar participates in the planning and implementation processes of projects undertaken by the group, with a mandate to coordinate and monitor ongoing projects to ensure alignment with the strategy plan and adherence to schedule. The role prioritizes and reschedules projects based on resource availability and criticality of user requirements, while providing support to team members in resolving solutions and operational-related problems. The incumbent ensures projects’ compliance with Group-wide Operational standards, policies/procedures, industry best practices, and pertinent laws and regulations. The position establishes and runs a fit-for-purpose PMO framework covering governance, reporting, planning, risk, issue, dependency, and financial management, and defines program standards, templates, controls, and cadence appropriate for a multi-year strategic transformation. The role maintains the integrated program plan across all 2030 strategy initiatives and workstreams and supports procurement, selection, and onboarding of external consultants including those responsible for Business Requirements definition and transformation delivery. It includes defining scopes of work, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria for consulting engagements, and overseeing the development of Business Requirements to ensure they are comprehensive, prioritized, traceable to strategy, and suitable for downstream implementation. The position requires at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank or IT Operation fields, including 5 to 6 years in a bank in a supervisory capacity with responsibilities relating to project management, products knowledge, and operation and business excellence.

Experience & skills
- Obtain a Bachelor degree as a University Graduate preferably with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology or related field of study
- Demonstrate at least 10 years of relevant experience preferably within a highly rated international bank or IT Operation fields
- Demonstrate 5 to 6 years of experience in a bank in a supervisory capacity with responsibilities relating to project management, products knowledge, and operation and business excellence
- Demonstrate proven expertise in Project Management, Program Management, and Risk Management within complex transformation environments
- Demonstrate experience establishing and operating a PMO framework covering governance, reporting, planning, risk, issue, dependency, and financial management
- Demonstrate experience defining program standards, templates, controls, cadence, and maintaining an integrated program plan across multi-year strategic initiatives
- Demonstrate experience supporting procurement, selection, and onboarding of external consultants including defining scopes of work, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria
- Demonstrate experience overseeing Business Requirements definition ensuring requirements are comprehensive, prioritized, traceable to strategy, and suitable for downstream implementation
