Job description
Moove is a global mobility technology company building the worldâs largest fleet and developing best-in-class technologies that power leading mobility platforms. Through its flagship Drive-to-Own (DTO) model, Moove democratizes access to vehicle ownership via a revenue-based financing solution that empowers mobility entrepreneurs worldwide. With operations spanning 19 cities across six continents and partnerships with global leaders such as Uber and Waymo, Moove is rapidly scaling into a globally operating, enterprise-grade organization.\n\nAs part of this evolution, Moove is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to architect, implement, and mature the security and operational foundations that will support long-term growth. This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role with broad ownership and strategic impact. The successful candidate will operate in a high-ambiguity environment, bringing clarity, structure, and scalable design principles rather than waiting for predefined direction. The role requires an architectâs mindsetâsomeone who thinks in systems, prioritizes correctness and durability, and builds solutions designed to stand the test of scale and audit scrutiny.\n\nThe Senior DevSecOps Engineer will lead cloud security architecture across AWS environments, implement modular and secure infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to standardize CI/CD and delivery pipelines. The role also includes owning observability and monitoring ecosystems (including Datadog), strengthening identity and access management, enhancing logging and audit readiness, and embedding governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) principles into engineering operations. Beyond execution, this individual will serve as a technical mentor and standards-setter, elevating engineering rigor, documentation quality, and security maturity across the organization.\n\nSuccess in this position is defined by measurable improvements in security posture, reduced operational risk, stronger audit readiness, and scalable infrastructure patterns that are consistently adopted across teams and regions. This role reports directly to the Head of Enterprise Architecture and works closely with the Technology Operations team to ensure resilient, secure, and enterprise-ready systems.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Architect and continuously enhance DevSecOps and cloud security practices to support enterprise-grade scalability
- Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure using modular and maintainable Terraform patterns
- Lead the development of secure CI/CD pipelines and standardized engineering workflows across teams
- Own and evolve observability, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using Datadog or equivalent platforms
- Design and implement foundational security capabilities including IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, and audit logging
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual configuration, eliminate drift, and improve infrastructure reliability
- Embed governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices into engineering processes to strengthen audit readiness
- Collaborate with Engineering and IT Operations to ensure operational resilience and adherence to best practices
- Provide mentorship to engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and establish durable technical standards
- Proactively identify long-term architectural improvements that enhance security posture and operational maturity
Experience & skills
- 10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Security Engineering, or related disciplines
- Proven experience delivering scalable security and infrastructure improvements in complex or high-growth environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services including IAM, networking, security controls, and core infrastructure components
- Extensive experience with Terraform for modular, secure, and maintainable infrastructure-as-code deployments
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tooling such as CircleCI or comparable platforms
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions such as Datadog
- Strong knowledge of security governance, risk management, internal controls, and audit frameworks
- Practical experience managing SaaS tooling, IT operations workflows, and enterprise-grade operational practices
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead initiatives from concept through implementation
- Exceptional attention to detail, documentation standards, and architectural correctness
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical and security concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with compliance frameworks is considered an advantage
