Job description
The Specialist, Internal Communications role at ADNOC Gas O&M in Abu Dhabi is responsible for developing and delivering internal communications and employee engagement programs that support organizational performance culture, behavioral alignment, and awareness of ADNOC Groupās corporate strategy, brand, and key organizational updates. The role focuses on designing and implementing employee communication strategies aligned to business and program KPIs, ensuring clear, consistent messaging and enabling two-way communication across the organization. The position evaluates the effectiveness of communication strategies using qualitative and quantitative methodologies, manages multiple internal communication channels, supports intranet structure and content development, and drives continuous improvement through data-driven insights. The role also supports change initiatives, internal campaigns, and transformation programs, while collaborating closely with internal communications practitioners across business units and maintaining strong advisory relationships with business and corporate leaders to deliver integrated, timely, and impactful internal communications.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement employee communication strategies aligned with business and program KPIs
- Design internal communications programs to influence employee behavior and support performance-based culture
- Analyze the effectiveness of internal communication strategies using qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Deliver and manage multiple employee communication channels ensuring consistency, transparency, and timeliness
- Support day-to-day execution of internal communications programs across the organization
- Contribute to intranet structure development, content creation, and governance processes
- Analyze intranet usage trends and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Support upskilling of the internal communications function and coordinate with communications practitioners across business units
- Support communication strategies for organizational change initiatives and internal campaigns
- Build and maintain strong advisory relationships with business and corporate functional leaders
- Provide internal communications counsel and support to internal stakeholders
- Perform additional internal communications duties as directed
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Possess a minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in corporate communications
- Demonstrate experience in large-scale or complex multi-sector organizations or across multiple industries
- Exhibit strong understanding of the strategic role of internal communications in driving transformation and business outcomes
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of internal communications techniques, tools, and best practices
- Exhibit capability in conducting and analyzing employee engagement and communication metrics
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Show ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all organizational levels
