Job description
PwC is seeking a highly experienced Asset Management (ALM) Manager to oversee fixed asset strategies and compliance functions within its Internal Firm Services division. Based in Al Khobar, this role focuses on managing the complete asset lifecycleâfrom acquisition to disposalâensuring adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards, system accuracy, and timely reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for policy development, data-driven asset performance analysis, ERP integration, and physical audits. This is a strategic position requiring cross-functional collaboration with finance and audit teams, strong leadership, and proficiency in fixed asset systems.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register to ensure accurate tracking across the organization.
- Oversee asset classification, capitalization, depreciation, and disposal in line with internal policy and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement fixed asset strategies to improve lifecycle efficiency and maximize value.
- Conduct physical inventories and periodic audits to reconcile asset records and ensure compliance.
- Prepare depreciation schedules and review asset transactions for financial accuracy.
- Ensure all asset-related activities comply with GAAP, IFRS, and audit requirements.
- Work with finance and planning teams to support asset-related budgeting and forecasting.
- Analyze underperforming assets and recommend actions including renewal or disposal.
- Implement and maintain ERP and asset management systems, improving reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Develop internal training programs on asset policies and systems for relevant teams.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in fixed asset management or related accounting roles.
- CPA, CMA, or other professional accounting certification preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles including GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong experience with ERP and fixed asset software platforms.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and reporting skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication and time management abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required (up to 100%).
