Knowledge Analyst β Chemicals role based in Riyadh within a Saudi Client Capabilities Hub supporting consulting teams and clients across the EEMA region and working closely with the Global Energy and Materials practice. The position focuses on delivering content expertise across maintenance, reliability, and operations functions for chemical sector clients while supporting capability building, execution delivery, and sustainable operational improvements. The role involves collaborating with clients throughout project lifecycles including business development, project delivery, and post-engagement capability development. The Knowledge Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining expertise in the Chemicals sector including petrochemical industry and downstream chemicals while working on analyses to generate unique insights using quantitative models and operational data. Responsibilities include supporting development and maintenance of proprietary knowledge capabilities, collaborating with local and global experts, and contributing to systems and process improvements for clients. The role requires working within the global Client Capabilities Network delivering distinctive client impact through industry assets and deep specialization. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in petrochemical sector operations, maintenance and reliability analysis, chemical process engineering, operational improvement, project management, and strategic decision-making. The role includes working with numbers and quantitative models, applying business, economic, and financial concepts, and communicating insights to clients and stakeholders. The position operates within a high-performance consulting environment with exposure to global clients, capability-building initiatives, and cross-functional teams while supporting innovation, knowledge development, and consulting delivery across multiple chemical industry engagements.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver content expertise across maintenance, reliability, and operations functions for chemical sector clients while supporting consulting teams across project delivery and execution phases
- Collaborate with clients to build capabilities, systems, and operational processes while ensuring implementation of recommendations and sustainable performance improvements
- Support business development activities by contributing to proposal development, client discussions, and solution design for chemicals and petrochemical sector engagements
- Drive analyses using quantitative models, operational data, and market insights to generate unique recommendations and strategic insights for clients
- Develop and maintain proprietary knowledge capabilities in collaboration with local and global experts within the Global Energy and Materials practice
- Build expertise in the Chemicals sector including petrochemical operations, downstream chemicals, maintenance, reliability, and operational optimization
- Maintain strong client relationships during and after project delivery while supporting long-term capability building and operational transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams and stakeholders to support delivery across EEMA region and contribute to innovation within the Client Capabilities Network
Experience & skills
- Hold Bachelorβs degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or petroleum engineering with strong technical understanding of industrial operations
- Possess 3+ years of professional experience in the petrochemical sector including downstream chemicals and industry market understanding
- Demonstrate experience in chemical process engineering, operational improvement, project management, or strategic decision-making within petrochemical industry
- Exhibit experience working with numbers and quantitative models including data analysis and performance modelling
- Maintain strong understanding of business, economic, and financial concepts relevant to chemicals and petrochemical industries
- Demonstrate ability to multitask across multiple client engagements while supporting consulting delivery and knowledge development initiatives
- Show capability to communicate complex ideas effectively to stakeholders across different organizational levels
- Demonstrate fluency in English with Arabic language skills preferred for regional client engagement
