Job description
The Senior Telecom Engineer in Abu Dhabi is responsible for the design, specification, and service integration of various communication systems including satellite, line of sight, fiber optic, telephony, public address systems, and data transmission for SCADA systems. Operating under general supervision, the engineer independently evaluates and adapts engineering techniques and criteria to resolve complex issues such as conflicting design requirements, material constraints, and coordination challenges. This role requires a high level of judgment and technical competence in conventional engineering practices, with significant impact on cost containment, operational efficiency, and profitability. The engineer also provides technical guidance to designers and junior engineers, with duties encompassing planning, scheduling, and execution of project tasks. Skills are typically acquired through an engineering degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience, with most professionals in the role having 6 to 10 yearsâ experience.

- Design and specify telecommunication systems including satellite, line of sight, and fiber optic solutions
