The Distribution Channel Manager β Digital Industries (Distributor Focus) at Siemens Digital Industries in Saudi Arabia is responsible for driving profitable growth exclusively through authorized distributors. The role involves owning and executing the distributor strategy for the entire Siemens DI portfolio, managing the full lifecycle of distributors including selection, onboarding, development, performance management, and compliance. The manager ensures alignment with Siemens commercial, ethical, and branding standards while driving channel segmentation, coverage models, and vertical focus in line with DI priorities. Key responsibilities include delivering profitable sales growth across Industrial Automation & Control (PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA), Drives & Motion Control (Low Voltage Drives & Servo Drives), Industrial Communication & Networking (Wireless & Wired), Process Instrumentation (Field Instrumentation), Digital Enterprise Software (Xcelerator Portfolio) and Industry 4.0 solutions, and Industrial Services & Solutions including spares, contracts, and training services. The manager develops annual business plans and targets with each distributor, conducts Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), drives corrective actions for performance gaps, and enables distributors through sales coaching, solution positioning, and opportunity qualification. Additional responsibilities include maintaining pipeline transparency and market intelligence via SieSales (Sales Force), coordinating with Sales Channels, Sales Acceleration, and Business Development, avoiding channel conflicts, and recommending continuous improvements in distributor performance, coverage, and processes. The role requires strong channel management, commercial negotiation skills, data-driven pipeline management, stakeholder management within a matrix organization, and fluency in Arabic and English. The position is exclusive to Saudi Nationals and is strategically focused on enabling the digitalization and Industry 4.0 transformation in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the distribution channel strategy for Siemens Digital Industries in Saudi Arabia, ensuring alignment with company priorities and DI portfolio objectives.
- Manage the distributor lifecycle including selection, onboarding, capability development, performance management, and compliance with Siemens commercial, ethical, and branding standards.
- Drive profitable sales growth across Industrial Automation & Control, Drives & Motion Control, Industrial Communication & Networking, Process Instrumentation, Digital Enterprise Software (Xcelerator Portfolio), and Industrial Services & Solutions, including spares, contracts, and training services.
- Develop annual business plans and targets with distributors covering Order Intake, Revenue, Pipeline, and Market Coverage, and conduct structured Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) to assess and drive performance.
- Enable distributor sales teams through coaching, solution positioning, opportunity qualification, account planning support, and promoting Siemens Digital Enterprise and Industry 4.0 value propositions.
- Maintain a healthy distributor opportunity pipeline using SieSales (Sales Force), ensure high-quality forecasting, bottom-up planning, and market intelligence to optimize channel effectiveness and avoid conflicts.
- Identify performance, coverage, and capability gaps in distributors and implement improvement plans, recommending enhancements to channel processes, tools, and working methods for continuous improvement and scalability.
Experience & skills
- Possess a Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or Instrumentation & Control, demonstrating a solid foundation in technical knowledge relevant to industrial automation and digitalization.
- Have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in distribution or channel sales within Saudi Arabia, with proven success in managing distributors rather than direct key accounts.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of Industrial Automation & Digitalization portfolios including PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, drives, networking, instrumentation, and Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Demonstrate strong channel management and commercial negotiation skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Apply a data-driven approach to pipeline, revenue, and performance management, including forecasting, planning, and opportunity qualification.
- Possess high stakeholder management capability within a matrix organization, collaborating across Sales Channels, Sales Acceleration, and Business Development.
- Exhibit high ownership, accountability, execution focus, and fluency in Arabic and English.
- Be a Saudi National, eligible to work exclusively within this position.
