Job description
The Senior Financial Analyst at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role includes preparing monthly and quarterly close reports, participating in budgeting and rolling forecasts, and providing detailed tracking of actual costs against budget. The analyst collaborates closely with business partners to develop strategic business cases, ensure compliance with internal policies, manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and participate in local and regional projects including system implementations and process improvements. The candidate should be experienced in financial control, have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, and demonstrate proficiency in SAP modules (BPC, FM, FI, CO) and Excel. Effective communication, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach are essential, along with fluency in English and a commitment to ethical financial practices.

- Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly and quarterly close reports to meet organizational policies and deadlines
- Participate in the budgeting process and rolling forecasts to enhance financial planning

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās or masterās degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- 3ā5 years of experience in finance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or a reputable audit company
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, financial control, budgeting, and reporting processes
- High proficiency in SAP (BPC, FM, FI, CO)
- Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and insights delivery
- Excellent command of oral and written English
- Compliance-oriented with strong ethical standards
- Strong communication and analytical skills with a proactive mindset
